Playing with the 'Big Boys'

The team in training ahead of Tomorrow's game.
With a trip to the red side of Manchester tomorrow, a few things have been running through my mind. Our back line. As solid as we were towards the start of the season, our defence and its structure have begun to rapidly plummet. The shape, structure and unity has decided to go on a little game of 'Hide and Seek'. With Un*ted on the horizon, please someone.. please can you find where our defence has gone? Koscienly has fallen asleep these past few games and hasn't been the player he was last season. Some say Vermaelen has shown quality this season.. I disagree. From the start, The Verm has looked uncomfortable. This could be down to the pressure on his shoulders after gaining captaincy of the team and perhaps due to the fact he hasn't has a consistent run of games with a paired CB. As much as I hate to admit it,  both Rooney and Van PersTwat have been playing in form and seem to be scoring left, right and centre. Un*ted have scored in their last 53 Premier League home games, an all-time Premier League record. With a dodgy defence this looks our Achilles heel.

However the game is tomorrow and it is all to play for. For all you Arsenal fans, I urge you NOT to worry. The midfield of Cazorla, Wilshere and Arteta makes us look like a world class football team on both paper and the pitch. With these three in the middle of the park, possession looks to be going in our favour. Being coached by a Barcelona youth coach last summer I was told "The only way you will score is by having the ball at your feet". Yes it is a pretty obvious assumption, but its 100% correct. Without possession you wont score. With possession you will. Simples. Be that as it may, the only way we will dictate the possession and flow of the game is by closing the Un*ted team down and not letting them play their so called "Beautiful Football". With this tenacity and will power, then comes the flair and football that our players are capable of delivering.

In a press conference a few days ago Wenger told the fans "I hope they respect him (Robin Van PersTwat). He played for us for 8 years and has done very well for us". Excuse me Mr Wenger... ARE YOU BONKERS?!?!?!? I would completely understand if he had gone overseas to Italy or Spain. He could have gone to Mongolia and I wouldn't have cared, but to go to Manchester Un*ted is a different story. I certainly wont be showing and respect nor sympathy towards the man. In fact today in my French lesson, instead of learning the past tense and all that nonsense, I was coming up with abusive, ingenious songs to sing to my tv when he walks on that pitch. Truly disgraceful I know...

With the hate aside. The way to win games is by scoring more goals that the opposition. Again another one of my in-complex and straightforward football ideologies, however once again IT IS TRUE!
After our midweek tennis match at the Madejski our forwards in Walcott and Giroud are overflowing with confidence and putting the ball where it should be. I have no doubt in my mind that we will score against Un*ted and will give the away fans something to celebrate about.

Up the Gunners

Keep the Faith
